Summary Does replacing your blood plasma help you live longer? Show / hide ↓
This was not a controlled scientific study. One wealthy adult repeatedly replaced some of his blood plasma, the liquid part of blood, with a replacement fluid. He did this hoping to slow aging and extend his life. There was no comparison group, and no reliable evidence showed that the treatment made him healthier or lived longer.
What this means for you: This does not show that plasma replacement works for aging or immortality. It is not a treatment to buy or try outside proper medical care.
