Summary Does an intensive longevity routine measurably improve one person’s health? Show / hide ↓
Researchers reviewed health measurements from one middle-aged man following a demanding diet, exercise, supplement, and medical-testing routine. His results included very favorable heart-risk markers, such as LDL cholesterol, often called bad cholesterol, and related blood measurements. The report did not compare him with a similar person who did not follow the routine. It also could not show which part of the routine caused the results.
What this means for you: This is not enough evidence to buy an expensive longevity program or copy the whole routine. The heart-health results may be encouraging, but they come from one person and do not prove longer life or better health for others.
